Self-Managers
Dodson has a self-manager program that recognizes students who are:
- Showing respect
- Making good decisions
- Solving problems
The program consists of an application process, a self-manager badge, special privileges, and a special, decorated table at lunch once a month when they can invite a family member to eat lunch with them.
Students are nominated by their teacher when they are showing the 3 Personal Standards above. They will be given an application that needs to be signed by a guardian, along with staff throughout the school. They will also write/draw why they feel they deserve to be a self-manager. After these are all complete, they will turn it in to one of the Deans for a final signature.
