Before And After School
Before School
Students will enter the playground from the large gates that lead to the basketball court on Houston Street. They can enter the playground as early as 8:40am! The first bell will ring at 8:55am, where students will line up either at their outside door or at their line-up spot. The second bell will ring at 9:00am and signals "tardy." Our instruction begins promptly at 9:00am.
After School
Kindergarteners who are being picked up will be released through their outside doors. Students in all other grades who are being picked up or walking will exit through the gate on the corner of Houston and Caballo. This ensures that everyone has access to a crosswalk and can cross the street safely and legally. Students who ride the bus will get on the bus through the gate on Jake St.
Before and After School Safety
- There is no parking in the parking lot for before-school drop off and after-school pick up.
- Please park on the curbs and avoid parking in the red curb zones or blocking neighbors' driveways.
- Please pull to the curb when students are entering or exiting your vehicle, not the middle of the street.
- Please use the crosswalks and avoid jaywalking.
- Please avoid U-turns on the streets that border the school.
- The school zone is 15 MPH from 8:30am - 3:30pm.
